The World’s No. 2 golfer finds its new partner in Solaire Resort and Casino
26-year-old South Korean Park Sung-Hyun has signed an exclusive two-year sponsorship agreement with Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. to carry the logo of its operated integrated resort, Solaire Resort and Casino. The signing ceremony was held on Feb. 14, 2019 at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul just a short while after the young female golfer finished her winter training in Orlando, Florida.
“On behalf of Solaire Resort and Casino, I would like to thank Ms. Sun Hyun Park for being our brand ambassador. We are honored and proud to have the world’s best women’s golfer to partner with us. The prestige and stature that Ms. Park brings into Solaire will immensely raise our brand. We are excited as we are all big fans of Ms. Park. We look forward to welcoming her to Solaire and to the Philippines.” said Solaire Resort & Casino owner and port magnate Mr. Enrique K. Razon, Jr. in a statement.
Park Sung-Hyun made her debut in the US LPGA tour in 2017. In her first year of professional play, she managed to secure two wins, as well as the Rookie and Player of the Year awards. She made her third consecutive victory with Arirajuta Taganegan of Thailand.
Talking about the goal for the new season, Park Sung-Hyun shares, “I feel like starting a new LPGA tour. I have won five wins over the past two years, and I will challenge for five wins this season. Of course, I will reclaim the first place in the world ranking.”
The Razon-led resort was represented by Cyrus Sherafat, Solaire Resort and Casino’s Executive Vice-President. “I am delighted to be with the world’s best female professional golfer and we are confident that our brand will grow thanks to Park Sung-Hyun’s reputation.”
